Travelzest founder and chief executive Chris Mottershead is reportedly set to reach a settlement with the firm after starting libel proceedings following his suspension from the company.

Mottershead (pictured) launched a defamation action against Travelzest in May, a month after he was suspended at the same time as the company said it had started an investigation into a "potential misappropriation of company funds".

Reports at the weekend said the two sides were set to reach a settlement over the action.

Mottershead strongly denies any wrongdoing.
