The Elite consortium has launched Elite Hotels and Cruise to its members, which it claims will give them more wholesale rates for both products.

Elite Hotels comprises 10,000 worldwide properties and gives members access to nett rates and a wider choice.

Elite Cruise offers a search system with many cruise lines and destinations at low prices, and can demonstrate itineraries and cabin availability in an easy to read format.

Chairman Wayne Darrock said: “We have been waiting for the right time to launch this to our members and with both sectors in the industry growing rapidly, Elite Hotels and Cruise give them something unique that will make them competitive to their customers.”

Elite has also announced details of its annual conference onboard Royal Caribbean’s Independence of the Seas on a Southampton-Le Havre sailing from June 2-5 this year.

The conference will be themed as "Raising the Standard" for members and suppliers.

Prices for suppliers lead in from £279 per person for a shared cabin plus £250 registration fee which includes a workshop table at its Talk Zone.
