British Airways chief executive Willie Walsh has said he will "stake his personal reputation" on doing everything possible to help customers during the planned strikes by the airline's cabin crew.
Speaking in a video filmed earlier today, Walsh said the decision by cabin crew to go on strike for seven days in March was a "significant blow to all our valued customers".
The strikes by 12,000 BA cabin crew are scheduled to go ahead on March 20, 21 and 22 and then on March 27, 28, 29 and 30. There may also be further walk-outs after Easter if the dispute over pay and working conditions is not settled.
