EasyJet made its first ever appearance at a GTMC conference – and emphasised its commitment to work with agents.
The airline’s head of corporate sales, Claire Haigh, told delegates: “Our aim is to work with GTMC members. This is a real opportunity to drive savings for your clients and to bring down their overall travel costs.
“The fact that we are here is us saying this is a real opportunity for you.”
EasyJet – unlike Ryanair – has made a concerted effort to attract business travellers. The airline’s fares are now available to book via global distribution systems – making it easier for travel management companies to include them in the corporate travel mix.
