Youtravel.com is looking to expand further following the appointment of Niels Andersen as its new chairman.

Andersen replaces former chairman Nigel Jenkins who stepped down at the end of 2008 due to family commitments.

Andersen, who is currently executive chairman of technology firm VectorCommand, said: “Youtravel is an exciting international online provider to the travel industry and with my own broad international background I hope to be able to contribute to further significant expansion.”

The new chairman will be working with Youtravel founder and chief executive John Kent and group managing director Graham Nichols to continue the company’s international growth.
