Add-ons specialist Holiday Extras has been named one of the top 10 call centres in the UK for its customer service.
The Kent-based company achieved a score of 88.9% for customer service which placed it 10th overall in the annual Top 50 Call Centres for Customer Service awards, which is organised by Call Centre Focus, published by the same company as TTG, and research firm GfK NOP.
Holiday Extras' score was a four percentage point improvement on last year’s performance. Its call centre was tested on five areas of service: timeliness, ease of use, reliability, staff knowledge and personalised service.
Peter Mooney, head of operations at Holiday Extras, said: “To attain a top 10 position against such strong competition is the perfect reward for everyone's continued hard work, and is a great motivator.”
The awards were held in London on Monday night.
