Acte launches new info resource
Tuesday, May 20, 2008 The Association of Corporate Travel Executives yesterday unveiled a new information resource for the business travel industry at its global education conference in Washington.
The organisation describes Acte Connect as a “one-stop resource of the industry’s intellectual capital, research and best practices”. Acte Connect is a collation of white papers, reports, surveys, presentations and other documents relating to the industry. Both Acte members and non-members will have free access to the information. “Our challenge was to harness the intellectual capital of the industry in one virtual home,” said Greeley Koch, chairman of Acte’s global centre for research and education. “Everything from traveller tracking to procurement strategies, from seamless automation to online booking, and from advanced travel management to the latest in supply chain management.” Acte says the research his constantly refreshed by buyers, suppliers, travel management companies, consultancy firms, government officials and academics.
