ITM names BBC boss as vice-chair
Tuesday, July 01, 2008 The Institute of Travel Management has appointed Jamie Hindhaugh, the BBC’s head of sourcing, as its vice-chair.
He will succeed Yahoo’s Caroline Strachan in 2010. ITM bosses said 41-year-old Hindhaugh was chosen because of his travel industry and procurement knowledge and his understanding of new media. Strachan said: "We are delighted to have attracted an individual of Hindhaugh's experience and vision. His focus on issues such as distribution, technology and demand management are the perfect compliment to ITM’s existing work in this area."
