The inventors of the sticky toffee pudding have launched a campaign to save the great British dessert, after a study showed the hot pud is going out of favour.

The Sharrow Bay Country House Hotel in the Lake District is recognised as inventing the famed sticky toffee pudding, and has created a desert so scrummy that hot pud-haters will be forced to surrender.

Its Chocolate and Ginger Pudding is described as “a warm amalgamation of rich Ecuadorian chocolate and hot Australian ginger mixed with a sprinkling of Michelin Star magic.”

We know TTG readers will want to resurrect the hot pud, so we have five of these glorious treats to give away. If you want to be entered into the prize draw to win one of these treats, email your name, address and telephone number to info@sharrowbay.co.uk, with the subject line: Pudding

The closing date for entries is March 15, 2008
