Canary Islands

Welcome to the Canary Islands Knowledge course

The Canary Islands -- an archipelago of seven islands with a warm, springtime climate for 12 months a year -- are a real paradise for those wanting a well-deserved rest. Many tourists who haven't yet visited the islands go to their travel agency in search of specific information.

The Canary Islands have huge white sand dunes, crystal clear waters, lunar landscapes, wild forests, secret coves of shiny, black sand, volcanoes and golden beaches that stretch on forever. But what makes each island different? Are all the great beaches to be found in El Hierro or in Fuerteventura? Can you go scuba diving on all of the islands? Are they ideal for children? Where can you go hiking?

A professional travel agent must be well-informed to answer queries such as these. Accurate, specific information is an important factor in the holiday buying process.

This TTG Knowledge Canary Islands course has been devised by The Canary Islands Tourist Board. Read each module and answer the questions. Pass all five and you become an official TTG knowledge expert on Gran Canarias.

Best of luck!

Please note, the details of all users completing the course will be passed on to the sponsor.
